Amsterdam Summer 2025

In the five years I’ve been living in Amsterdam, the summer of 2025 was by far the best I’ve experienced — weeks of real sunshine, warm days above 30°C and very little rain. For once, I don’t feel cheated going into winter!

This photo series is a small visual archive of that summer, captured through a street photography approach. Alongside everyday scenes of lush summer greenery, people in summer clothes and ice cream, it also captures events like Festival Op de Ring and SAIL Amsterdam 2025. Together, these images form a snapshot of daily life in Amsterdam in 2025 before it changes again.
